Pain-Free Pathways specializes in manual physical therapy, dry needling and treating chronic pain. We help individuals who may be struggling with conditions, such as fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, back pain, neck pain, headaches, TMJ disorder, herniated disc, arthritis, degenerative joint disease, and failed surgical syndromes. Our mission is to relieve your pain, help you restore and optimize your functional capacity, and to teach you how to maintain that improvement on your own. The pathway to a longer, healthier, and more joyful life is staying active, strong and mobile.

*Hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

*Pain-Free Pathways is not in network with any insurances. Services are for direct pay only.

*Pain-Free Pathways requires that you put a card on file for contactless payments. This helps us spend more time with you, rather than manually taking a payment during your session. Payment processing will occur automatically only after your arrival. Pain-Free Pathways uses Jane Payments for card processing, which is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and is powered by Stripe for end-to-end encryption and 256-bit bank grade security.

*Pain-Free Pathways is not an enrolled Medicare provider. Law prevents us from providing what would be considered normally covered services. This includes Medicare as a primary or a secondary policy. If you are a Medicare beneficiary and would still like to request care at our clinic, please contact us directly to see if you qualify for any of the services that we offer that would be considered non-covered by Medicare.

Physical Therapy

One-on-one physical therapy dedicated to your needs. Sessions are 45 minutes long focusing on restoring pain-free function through evaluation, manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, biomechanics training, home program development, and dry needling as needed.

Aaron Rathgeb MSPT, CMTPT

Aaron received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia in 1998. Early on in his career he was fortunate to have outstanding mentors and developed a passion for manual therapy. In 2001, he founded Integrated Health Physical Therapy. Over the years he continued his education, advanced his skills and mentored his own clinicians as his practice grew. He became an onsite clinical instructor for VCU physical therapy students completing their affiliations as a way to give back to the profession. He began dry needling in 2014 and earned his certification in dry needling in 2016. He developed a reputation in the community as a trusted expert in chronic pain and complex cases. Now after taking time off to heal from his own injuries from a car accident, he returns to practice to continue his passion and to help others live their lives to their fullest pain-free potential.
